Ann mommy of Baby Benny,

We live in the Apex/Jordan Lake/Greenlevel area of North Carolina and are interested in finding a brother or sister for Benny, who is 3 yrs old and loves to play with others.  He had a big brother beagle who we lost last year, and his big sister, Candy, is a cocker mix that is 14 yrs old with failing health and she just doesn't like to play anymore.  He is my third rattie, and when I got my first two many years ago, I was hooked.  We are willing to adopt a rattie mix .  My email is jam331@bellsouth.net

Please, please check out www.ratbonerescues.com They have many, many ratties that have been rescued and are in foster homes awaiting their forever families. Best part is, in my opinion, that their personalities in a "real" home are pretty clear. Their is an extremely sweet girl, good with cats, dogs, and kids, name Aimee in Florida. Ratbones will work with you regarding transportation if they determine you're a match

Welcome to the site !!!! Please share pics of your rattie and his siblings So sorry to hear about the loss of your beagle.

Here is her information: http://www.ratbonerescues.com/available_response_16.php

Location: Florida

Aimee is an absolute dream of a dog. This sweet 3 year old Rat Terrier weighs about 18 pounds She came into rescue when her owner left her with her sister because she could not care for her. The sister had no means to take care of her either but cared enough to get her to Ratbone Rescues. Aimee gets along well with all the dogs she has met and had cats in the home where she previously lived. She is not afraid of children and is not fearful of strangers. Aimee appears to be housebroken and hasn't had any accidents in her foster home, although her foster home has a doggie door she is learning to use. She is well mannered and doesn't beg. She sits and waits patiently to be fed. She loves to play fetch and play with the other dogs but is just as content to lie curled up in the corner of the couch. She crates well although she would prefer not to be in her crate. Aimee is learning to walk nicely on a leash and is an excellent rider in the car, where she lies on the seat and enjoys the ride. If you would like a loving and loyal companion and can give Aimee the love and attention she needs, please apply!

This dog is okay with:

cats

dogs

kids
