Sadie is a beautiful female rat terrier. She is very bright, attentive, and affectionate. She has an older sister who really does not like to share with her. Sadie wags her tail all the time and wants so much to please and have attention. She is smarter than her sister and a bit more needy.... Sadie is ~ 18 months old. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She is crate trained and also doggie door trained. She needs a new family who can give her the attention she deserves. She lives in CT. If anyone knows of a good family for her please email me at mylabgrace@aol.com She can only go to the right person and will stay with me until that home is found for her. However, if the right family person comes along there is no adoption fee. It is a matter of knowing she wll be loved and well cared for. If you are interested or know someone who would be a good fit for her...let me know and I can send a picture. |

Do not know where the man part came into play. It has nothing to do with a man.
Sadie is not poor. She is well cared for...just needs a more active home and someone how has more time to play with her than I can at this time..........and more than her sister is willing to do. They have very different personalities. Silly me thought that Macy needed a sister but turns out she liked being the only child. I work full time and am full time doctoral student. She needs more than I can give her in terms of training and structure as she is very smart and eager to learn............Full disclosure is that she still needs to be monitored closely and does not have unlimited access to the house unless she is with me.... |

Hopefully someone in your area will be looking for a RT. I think it's great that you are trying to find her a new home and a good home and aren't asking for an adoption fee. That is very kind of you. This is a good place to start because many people come here to get info. on the dogs or to try and find one.
Please keep us updated okay? Maybe you could post a picture as well? How big is she? |

| I hope that this all works out. At the very least, it's a good thing that you realize Sadie isn't getting the life she needs with you and you are willing to take the time to find her a great home and not "just get rid of her" the way so many people do. |

Artie: Please let us know if you get a response from Sadie's owner. If not, there are A LOT of ratties sadly in need of loving homes and many who would benefit from a retiree such as yourself along with another dog to play with!!!!

Vicki: The easiest way would be to go to the Photos:Ratties forum and add a new thread. Type in a subject line and something in the main message window. Underneath that box are three file upload boxes where you can add picture files. Just click on Browse to the right of the box and go to the photo file's location on your computer. The files will need to be resized (if not already) as they MUST be less than 125 kb in size. We'd love to see her!!!
