FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Representatives with the Broward County Humane Society traveled to Virginia to bring back more than 100 puppies rescued from a puppy mill. Virginia authorities found more than 1,000 dogs living in unsanitary conditions in what they're calling a puppy mill.
The Broward County Humane Society brought back some of those puppies to receive proper medical care.
Anyone who would like to adopt one of the 108 rescued puppies should go to the humane society in person starting Saturday. Adoptions over the phone are prohibited.
The Broward County Humane Society is located on 2070 Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale. It's open from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday |
