Subject: 12-year-old beautiful dog dumped at kill facility

I know this site is typically for rat terriers but this is such a horribly sad story.
This dog's so-called family dumped her at Roicy in Lafayette, La., because family members had grown up and moved away. Unbelievable. As most of you know, Roicy is a kill facility where they still gas the animals.
Can you imagine how scared she is being there after having a home for 12 years?????
Please e-mail roicyvolunteers@gmail.com if you know of a senior sanctuary or similar group that can let this girl live out her final years in dignity.  Or e-mail them if you can donate a few bucks to help sponsor her. We have to help her.
She deserves so much more. Please help if you can.

Good news. It looks like an Afghan rescue in Georgia is going to pull her Monday. Please keep your fingers crossed.
