These 3 just arrived. They only get to stay so long in this HIgh Kill shelter. The shelter already has quite a few held over from last week,plus these new arrivals, so many will have to be gassed this week, unless some are taken out to make room.

They are so sweet! I'm tearing up just looking at them. I wish I could adopt another dog. Man this sucks!

Poor babies. Why, why are there so many abandoned ratties in this area. Seems like Roicy always has multiple rattie in danger of being PTS.

I agree - texas and Louisiana always has an excess of ratties for some reason (kinda like florida always has tons of english bulldogs) - generally when i contact them about a rattie if their time is almost up they usually have a rescue group lined up to pull them - not for all i'm sure but most seem to.... if thats any comfort.
