I think the term they used for this breed in the rattie book I read before getting Button was "relentless". Ohhhh, how many times has she been doing something on and on and on and we just look at each other and say "relentless". We certainly knew what we were getting into, didn't we? LOL.

I think of them as cat-dogs. They are so cat-like in their movements...Molly will climb up on me to get to the back of the couch, slide down, hop across to the other couch and climb up on the back and sit/lay there. And they gracefully jump up on the bed. Maybe it's the same part that makes them such great hunters that also makes them so agile?

My roommates like to laugh at Casey because he thinks he is a billy goat! He will scale any element in the house to get to the person eating icecream. One minute you will be sitting there watching tv, and two seconds later Casey has managed to sneek (without anybody in the whole room seeing him) up the sofa to peek over your shoulder and sit there to watch your icecream.

You have two hands, you might as well have two ratties....right?

We have a baby gate too, we ended up having to make this contraption to keep Henry and Bella behind it... a blown up pool raft leaned up against the gate, supported by a chair, ironing board, and garbage can. Any less and they can get right past it. A little over a month ago Bella broke her leg, and it's in a gigantic cast. We thought we were safe from her escapes, so we settled for just the gate. I still can't figure out how she did it, but she managed to scale that gate with only 3 working legs.

I have thought that so many times...she arches her back like a cat, rubs against me like a cat...balance on the smallest places like a cat.....its too funny!!!
