Sorry everyone -- I hope you are not getting tired of these stories . . .

The other night, I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of strange little hiccupping noises coming from Lady's crate.  I was still half-asleep and It took me a few seconds to figure out what was going on.  At first, I thought she might be sick or otherwise in distress, but then I realized she was dreaming, and barking in her dreams.  The dream-barks just came out as little "hiccups."   That's the best description I can come up with to describe the sound.   Aaaaaawww.

Nibbler too!! And he moves his legs and growls. That's the only time I've heard him growl except when his vaccination hurt and my cousin picked him up.
He still suckles in his sleep too

I always figured they were extra tired if they talked in their sleep, or looked like they were chasing down that squirrel.

Darcy and Sophie both used to get the hiccups (while awake) until they were about a year old. It was sort of funny.

Zipper dream barked for the very first time yesterday. Button does it all the time. Funny thing is Button was on the adjacent sofa sound asleep and it woke her up! She jumped down and went over to Zipper's chair, stood on the edge and just loooooooked at Zipper so seriously. Then Zip woke up and they both started to play!

Casey dream barks. If it is a good dream he will just wake up and go back to sleep. However if he had a scary dream, we have to wake him up and he runs to the top of the bed to snuggle with mommy and daddy. He snuggles in right between us and puts his little head on the pillow. recieving pets for a good 20 minutes.

My Daisey is doing that right now!  She does the closed mouth bark things and wiggles her nose.  Sometimes she even moves her paws.   Sometimes she is so into it I think she must be having a nightmare so I wake her up.

I wonder what they think/. do they think they live in two different realities?
