WHY!

With all the toys that Amos has to play with(and play with them he does!), he has now decided that He Must Destroy His Dog Bed!  He's dragging it all over the kitchen.  I can't tell you how many times I've put it back in its place this weekend.  And now he's got the cushion pulled out and has chewed a hole in the bottom!  I just put it up on the washing machine.  I'll give it back to him tonight when he's calmed down a bit.

Woo!  I'll be glad when the puppy phase is over!

LOL!! Julia did the same with her bed I already had to sew the bottom because she tore a hole in it and was pulling all the stuffing out of it...isn't the puppy stage soooo fun?!

LOL yes never buy a bed with the sponge bottom. it is way to tempting for them. LOL

Oh My god no kidding! I got a dog bed from Wallgreens and its all fleace and it has survived about 6 months now. But everytime foam is brought in the house it wont make it the week. The older dogs can handle it but the baby feels the need to kill the beds.

My dog does not chew or destroy his bed he loves my daughters stuffies.... so I buy him cheap ones to toss around (get them from yard sales) I never leave him unattended with them cause I dont want to have him tear it open and eat the stuffing and get all blockedup... as soon as he tears a hole it goes in the trash!!!

Yep, we see this too. It started out as the cats bed but now that there's a rat terrier in the house, everything belongs to him!

Maggie chews up lots of stuff but never her bed!!! She loves it...it's a place of her very own. I bought one when she was a tiny puppy and she still prefers it over the larger, nicer, more expensive one she has now. The little one is the one we take in the car when we go on trips...it's like her car seat!

My lab chewed up every bed she ever had. Maggie, my five month old rattie chewed up the two cat beds, but hers is still ok.
