when you trot, you look like you're "prancing" even though you're a boy. O.O

Everyone comments and giggles about how Tay "prances..."  I'll have to see if I can get a vid of him walking.  His front paws come up so high that it really looks like he's little miss prissy-pants prancer.

My babies have it backwards.  Taylor is little miss prissy pants, and his sister is the tomboy. ><

That is awesome! LOL!!! Everytime I read this forum, i say to myself, yea trixy does that.   She prances when she is teasing us, alot.  i thought it was because she is so little.  Are your babies little?

Abby is little, but she doesn't (didn't before the leg incident) prance as much as Taylor.  Taylor's 15 pounds, so not super little like some of the ratties on here, but boy does he prance, and it's more pronounced when he's teasing someone, or when he's excited.

That is too funny!!!! Trixy has this run jump thing, like a deer.  she has a curled tail too,  so sometimes,  when it is later in the night. it really liooks like we have a little deer in our yard.  The prancing thing....becaue her tail is not docked, it curls and it seems the the happier she is, or more excited, her tail gets higher and higher when she prances. it is pretty funny.

Mayfly hops like a bunny, Skipper does the "river dance" when he knows he's going for a walk and Mitzy does a Russian dance....arms waving up and down with hind legs hopping.... (I am not exagerating here either!)

But my newest foster, Rosy, does the rattie strut big time - she almost goose steps!

And BTW we get giggled at just walking down the street!  When I walk 4 ratties at one time - total strangers will stop their cars just to giggle and wave! (Small town.)
