I have a 7 week old rattie pup, and talk about clumsy!!! We have hard wood floor, which only makes it worse. When my Annabelle runs or jumps, she'll either flip backwards (I'm not kidding), or falls flat on her nose. Even when we are in the grass, Bella flips and turns by accident. It is tremendously funny, but I hope nothing is seriously wrong with her legs. She walks normal, but her jumping and running is sloppy. Is it because she's still a puppy? I'm pretty sure she's alright, for she had a clean bill of health after her last shots.

7 weeks is such a baby--how cute----They are very funny as clumsy as they can be but I think it is becasue there are really very flexible and loose limbed. Nora has a funny gait when she runs but she is as fast as a greyhound--Did you get her checked after you brought her home??

Definitely must have pics!

When I first took Rip to the vet's office, the doc noted a thin patch of fur on his shoulder that she said we should "watch." I think she wondered if he might have ringworm or something. Well, no worries there. That spot was just rubbed almost bald because every time he ran through the kitchen he would slide around one corner. It was always that shoulder he hit on the toy crate on his sliiiiide through! (We moved the crate, btw, and his fur has grown back nicely.)
