Ripley has figured out how to open his crate - from the outside AND the inside! It's one of those with the plastic door and closer tabs that lock into place. I don't know how he does it from the inside, but I have watched him open the crate from the outside when I closed and locked it up. (He was using it as a hiding place from which to torment our German Shepherd. I thought that unfair, so locked him out.) The following day, I had to go out and put him in it. When I didn't let him out fast enough when I got home (I tend to ignore him when first arriving just so that he doesn't get too excited), he let himself out! I am going to have to get one with the spring-loaded closers. *sigh*
Rip has also managed to figure out how to uncover the water bowl at night - which I do as he is still very young and the bowl is one of those 5 gallon feeder bowls.
He knows how to change the channel if the noises/flashing of the tv bother him. We now have to hide the remote.
He knows when is the best moment to sneak up and steal a hoof from between the giant teeth of our GSD. Or where to grab her with his own teeth to slow her down when she chases him.
I am amazed at what Ripley can figure out. Lately, I have started to be more careful in what I let him watch me do! |
