Rockstar is positive that bedtime is the most appropriate time to play and get as crazy as possible. He runs around, jumps on the bed, runs in circles, jumps off the bed, runs around the floor, jumps on my daughters bed, runs in circles and back onto my bed and so forth.

Bedtime is his favorite time of the day!

This is so true. There is a major difference in the time between when say it's time to go "night, night" and when this actually occurs. Especially if there is still other noise going on in the house, she scratches at the door thinking that she's missing out on something, and of course...she must be center of attention if there is!

This is so Diego! The only time he gets super playful is bedtime. Luckily it's usually only for 20 minutes to half an hour or so!

If everyone recieved kind of love my Diego gives me, there would be world peace.

Not so with Skittles.....she stands at the top of the stairs GLARING at me when it's bedtime, as if to say "you know what time it is, don't you..."  All I have to say is "Skittles, time for bed" and she runs in my room and lays down.

The other night we missed Bob and found him already in bed asleep! That's the first time he's ever done that.

Topper varies between the two extremes. He often thinks that playtime is when i am trying to get ready for work. He bites my socks and shoes and pants cuz they are wiggling.

Henry thinks that if he wiggles around on the floor at our feet we'll forget we're putting him to bed. He definitely turns up the cute at bed time.

Hendryx will either plow right under the covers, never to be seen until daybreak, or will decided that it's time to play an endless game of tug-of-war an fetch. I've discovered that I can sometimes get him to concentrate on a chewy long enough to get the lights fully out and Leno off the tube.

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!

Button used to be a lunatic & quite crazy from 9-10pm as a puppy. But now she's a sleepy girl anytime after about 9:30. Zipper, on the other hand, gets down on the floor right in front of poor snoozing Button, lays like the Sphinx, wiggles her tail and yips and barks "Please come down & play with me, Button" right about 9:30 every night.

Maybe its just a puppy thing and they outgrow it? Button just looks at Zipper like she's an idiot when she does this, and doesn't budge from her sofa snooze. LOL
