...before you grudgingly decide to come inside.  Molly does this every single night.  We have a sliding door, and Molly will come to the door and look in, long enough that you think she might actually want to come inside, and then walks away the second you get to the door, to go sit by the edge of the deck.  She does this at least 2 or 3 times before she decides to come in.  Sometimes, it's to get the other dogs to go back outside with her, and other times, she just wants the door left open, which is NOT going to happen.
