LOL The only reason there aren't dents in my screen door, is because I don't have one!!!!

We have a glass door in front of our screen door...we've learned to keep the glass door closed...

We had a lab/mix that blew through the screen door leaving the bottom corner torn out.

We have left it that way, and even re-screened the door, leaving the corner open.

It's our easy "doggie door".

Kenzie and I have a lovely balcony, that she loves to lay out in the sun on.

Well the other night I shut the screen door without her realizing it and she comes to bound inside and she bounded right into the screen and then was all freaked out by it.

20 minutes later we're back out there and she does it again but harder this time and then she was very upset that I had the nerve to laugh my head off!!

I got the screen door thing all resolved.  When we did remodeling last summer and pulled out the slider in the kitchen and put in French doors to the patio, I didn't want a screen door swinging into thecooking shelf on my patio that I keep my roaster oven on.  So we got one of those tension retractable screen doors installed.  Man....is that tension ever strong!  It can get away from you if you don't hold it firmly as it retracts, and it's really loud if it snaps by itself into the metal receptable!

Well, one day one of the dogs either walked right into the screen (it's real fine mesh) or pawed at it  and the strong magnets that hold it extended let go.  The thing retracted so violently (as it does if you don't hold it during retraction) and it scared the begeezus out of Button and Zipper both.  Now, they approach the screen door with great caution!  I have also since stitched a ribbon X on it at eye level and dog level so nobody accidently walks into the screen anymore.
