Our rat Cissy is a little freak! Any shadow...from the door opening in the sunlight, my shadow, her own shadow, etc., she'll chase. She becomes obsessed and had to get it. Also, we made the mistake of getting the laser out thinking it would be fun. She wore herself out chasing it. LOL Then after we put it away, she'd sit and stare at the wall or walk around looking at it. I've never had a dog so interested in shadows/lights!
We recently painted our master bedroom, so while in the process, we had some furniture pulled to the middle of the room. I had a night light up so we wouldn't forget and trip in the middle of the night. It was one of those lava light night lights that someone gave me for fun...it has glitter in it though. Anyway, Cissy went nuts for that! In fact, hubby woke up in the middle of the night to see her chasing the glitter light on the floor. LOL! She had crawled out of bed to chase the shadows (it looked similar to what a disco ball looks like on the floor). What a little nut!  |
