Remy's ears are usually perked right up straight, but when he's tired he just doesn't have the energy to hold them up anymore and they droop.  It's so funny, he looks so pitiful!  And at times like this, he obviously doesn't have the energy to climb the stairs, so Mommy or Daddy carries him up to bed.  He is SO SPOILED!

Ha ha ha...Daisy's don't droop, but the do "slide" down more to the sides of her head when she's sleepy/tired.

Shadow's ears are always buttoned down, EXCEPT when the doorbell rings... and when he knows it is dinner time. Otherwise they are buttoned down. I can't figure the ear thing out, I just love him anyway... he is such a character.

Bob will get flying nun ears when he is tired. Sometimes when he has just woke up, he will only have enough energy for one ear to stand up.

Too funny. When we rescued Tres he was just 10 weeks or so and his ears looked deformed. Eventually they stood up perfectly. Now he has the BEST ears.

Then Susa came along and her little ears were so erect. After a few weeks one flopped down. I blamed my husband for petting them too much, lol. Now they stand up but I just said the other day, it's like it flops when she's sleepy. I think I was right!

Here she is just up from her nappy.

It's amazing how much you can tell about our dogs by their ears. Who knew ears had so much personality?

Mia gets the "sleepy ears" too. Normally her ears are erect! They are bigger than her head, there HUGE! but so adorable.
