| I have just learned how to sit. Don't you know, you aren't allowed to sit all the way in your chair. You only get the edge. The rest is the dogs. It has gotten so bad I even do it in public with no dog on the chair. I only get 1/4 of the seat. |

| You are owned by a rat terrier if you pick your sleepwear to make sure it is big enough for your rattie to crawl into if he gets cold. Last night Bob wasn't warm enough just under the covers. He had to get into my night shirt with me too. |

you know better than to set socks down next to you on the bed when you put them on. A rattie will get it and a chase will happen...
Or... you know how to grab something by the timing of their chew so they can't get a grip on it again. |

| you pick up your sleeping rattie and carry him to bed. Bob will fall asleep on the couch before we are ready to go to bed and I usually have to pick him up and carry him to bed, like I used to do when my sons were little. |

you have to look AROUND your rattie's head to read/type/post on the computer screen. He is busy trying to lick the mouse or curser or anything that may be moving on the computer screen and heaven forbid I push him off my lap! I have simply gotten used to the idea that my fiew of the computer screen will always be "obstructed".  |
