have to sleep under the covers but you are the only one who is comfortable in the bed.

I swear Alice sleep with her head by me and her butt by my boyfriend and she takes up so much of the bed!! We move her and she just goes right back to her "position". Fred is such a smart dog, he sleeps in his own bed and I bet he is only one who wakes up feeling like he got a good night sleep!!

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too

HA!  Funny Alice!  Try 5 of 'em in bed with ya!!!  I'm lucky to get the corner!  Forget it if I roll over, they all move over to be touching me and when I have to roll back over, I have to push 'em all back over to the other side of the bed!  LOL... I'm lucky to get any sleep at all!

LOL! Ya, I think Zoey is the only one who sleeps good as well. I have to maneuver around her all night!

Both of ours sleep in bed with us and they sprawl out so come 5am in the morning me and hubby are hanging on to the edges of the bed. For such small dogs they take up lots of room!

My two are bed hogs as well. Boozer always has to be right up next to you and Geigh sleeps crossways between my husband and I. I get about 6 inches on the edge of the bed. But they are so precious I hate to wake them to move them. Besides, if you try to move Geigh when she is sleeping, she will growl at you. Don't disturb the princess!

Hendryx goes under the covers and drapes himself over one or the other of our legs.

Actually, if he was in a playing mood and we cut it short by shutting off the lights, he goes under the cover and tries to dig a hole in the mattress.

When that fails, he gives a mournful HUFF! and drapes himself over our legs. Later, he gets up, crawls out from under the covers and alternates curing up against us.

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!
