My Snoopy had lost some weight. I couldn't figure out why. I was ready to take him to the vets and the morning before his appointment, I saw him out in the yard with the other dogs and he had gone potty, and they were all over there sniffing it, so I went out to see what the big deal was. As I got closer, I thought it was a dead baby bird. I started yelling for everybody to get away... and I bent over to take a closer look, and it was one of my black nylon socks in "poop" shape!!

Then that night, I saw a "log" on my bedroom carpet - and I yelled "ok, who poopied in the house?" and I went over to take a look at it, and it was the matching black nylon sock! LOL.... I knew where THAT came from!! suffice it to say, I no longer buy nylon socks!! Only cotton! LOL

After that Snoopy started gaining weight again. Phew... it could have turned out so much worse...

Good grief! What won't these dogs eat?! Shiloh was notorious for the girl's undies, we solved that problem by having them in a heavy lidded wooden box, then came the eyeballs from stuffed animals, I got through that one by praising and giving treats if she'd give them to me instead of eating them, then the apple tree had a good harvest and she ate her weight in apples everytime she'd go outside... then she did the same as Snoopy and started losing weight... had a swollen belly. Out came an entire bright blue chicken wrapper that said California's Finest Organic Chickens on it! Eghads!

Last night I was sitting and talking to my mom when I could hear Phoenix chewing, looked over and saw the end of his bone, thought nothing of it. Then I called him, he looks up and has something pink in his mouth. Turns out he chewed the rear view mirror off my daughters barbie van, boy was she upset this morning! I was just so glad he didn't decide to swallow it! I can't believe the things they eat. The other thing, it passed through, tinsel off of cheer leader pom poms..........need I say more?

OMG this thread has made me laugh so hard! And here I was worried about the bones in the new Raw Meaty Bones diet I'm trying! LOL Those bones are mere child's play to what your dogs are eating, girls! LOL

Funny - but sort of scary, too!
I can relate to yelling "who pooped in the house" though....although when that happens I know it's Mitzy. Most times poor Bill replies back "not me".....LOL poor guy just clarifying that he's potty trained.

So far Zippy doesn't eat weird things, that's our German Shepherd's job. Dirty tissues are haute cusine to Sam..gross. Zippy is a sneak pooper. If he has run of the house, he'll run upstairs to the front bedroom and poop on the rug. If only he would take a few steps back and go in the cat litter!

I have laughed so hard over this thread! Hubby had to know what was so funny. When I told him, he said "Well, at least Amos isn't the only one."

Mine loves to tear cloth up, so we get to pull the never ending string out of the bottom end. First she starts to drag her bottom end on the floor. That is how we know there is the problem again. And I mean it is a never ending string, that keeps going and going and going....

I love my ratty!
