Whenever we sit down for a meal Phoenix has to sit at the table with us.....I know some people are probably thinking"ewww", but he just sits there and watches. On occasion while in the kitchen (when my back is turned) he has been known to help clean the table.... |

Shooter and Shadow love joining my grandparents at the dinner table, but hubby won't let them do it at our house lol poor things sound like they're going to starve to death if they don't get up to watch us eat and get a couple of scraps! When hubby has his back turned though they tend to get a few scraps here and there. |

| Is your dog a professional beggar? Mine rests his head on your leg and whimpers until you give him tabel scraps. On top of that, if you won't give him anything, he'll go to the person next to you at the table eating and do the same thing! |

| Madden just sits there and looks at us and whines until we give him table scraps. Sometimes I give in and give him some before I'm done.. which is a huge mistake I know.. but I can't help it. He has me wrapped around his paw. |

| Hendryx just waits for cheese and bones (beef only, thick bones rather than the breakaway type). Actually, he used to sit next to the table, put on the big brown puppy eyes, and wimper like he hadn't eaten a morsel in a year (poor neglected baby). We ignored the wimpering. We also only give him scraps and stuff by putting it in his bowl. My mother, however, has been known to pass him a tidbit under the table. Then she complains that he has no manners. |

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK! |

Dixie has to eat with us, well eat at the same time as us, I don't allow her to "beg" at the table so when we sit down to eat she goes to her food bowl and eats. She stays there until we are done eating, then she has to investigate the floor just to make sure there aren't any food particles left behind, because they would mess up the clean floor. I will give her a roast bone or a steak bone every now and then, ahhh she thinks she's in doggie heaven. |

| When we first got Mimzy, we could tell she was used to eating from the table. She was a bit over wieght (go figure?), so we did not start that tradition. She now pays no attention to us while we eat and is perfectly happy with her own meal and her green beans! She loves those things! LOL |

| Toby will just sit there with that cute puppy dog face and eyes and put his chin on your leg and just look at you like "Don't forget I'm here" "Toby wants a treat too" ....he just looks so pitiful we have to give in most of the time. He will sit for 5 minutes with his head on our leg or until we give him a bite. He is soo cute. |

We give Fred and Alice a mini dingo while we eat. It keeps them busy for like 30 minutes and it gives us peace to eat, plus they love them so it's like a treat. Now we are big grillers (10 propane tanks last year we went through!) and they love cookout's! EVERYONE feeds them, even when we ask them not to not to mention all the food that falls from the grill or peoples hands, they loves them so bar b que!! |

I see nothing wrong with that, although as far as training is concerned.... most trainers would frown on such a practice. haha Bailey has his own chair and sits quietly in his own "place" while we eat. I feel kinda sorry for him in a way... cuz I think he truly does believe if he's a good boy he'll get something to eat... but he never does. haha |

Bailey does look pretty cute sitting is his chair . Max would NEVER do it. He would eat everything off of the table He prefers to stick his head in your lap - moving from mom to dad to me

| Too funny.. Ana gets little pices of steak (before it is cooked) my husband cuts pices off before he BBQ's and then feeds them to her from the table. I only give her veggies from my plate. I can not keep my family from feeding her from the table so I just make sure she only get healthy things from the table. |
