PLEASE tell me Madden's not alone when I say that no matter what I do, he always manages to pee on himself when I take him out. we buy baby wipes to wipe him off with when we get in, but jeez i've never heard of dogs doing this (though, i haven't heard of dogs doing basically ANYTHING madden does hah) people have told me it will change when i get him neutered. will it?

Haven't had a male puppy in years....obviously doesn't happen with females. I have an adult male and his tummy isn't yellow. It will be interesting to see if other members with male pups have this problem...

He's not alone.  Oscar was somewhat of a crazy pee-er too,  although I haven't noticed it lately.  It depends on how far down he squats, I think, but he'll occasionally pee on a front paw.  When he raises a leg to pee,  God only knows where it'll go.   Fortunately,  he usually only raises the leg to act like he's marking over where Lucky just peed, but doesn't actually go.  I don't know if neutering will help since Oscar was fixed when I got him.  He's about 18 months old now and I've had him for about 7.5 months.

Nibbler pees on his legs. Sometimes he'll get his belly/chest area. but mostly his front paws, then he HATES it when I have to wipe them with baby wipes. haha

I used to pee on myself but haven't since I stopped drinking 31 years ago!

Tell your vet when he goes in to be clipped and maybe he can make the stitches a bit tight thus aiming the pee shooter down! Hmmm, bet this doesn't happen to Great Danes......

Sonic would pee on himself when we first got him home from the shelter but he was abused and lacked confidence in himself and was worried he was in trouble.  He has not peed on himself in almost three months now.  We adopted him the end of April.
