Since we brought Alice home she loves to crawl around like a seal on the carpet. She drags he back legs and paws behind her and just motors around. I would say weird but I am thinking normal?!!

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too

It may just be itching from allergies. Carpet is an effective scratcher. My allergy-ridden dachshunds did this, but my other dogs have not been inclined to do it.

My two do this when they wake up in the mornings or after a nap. It's like they are stretching. Hehehe!

My mom's dog does it. I always thought he was just to lazy to get up to get what he wanted.

we call it that too.  sproket also sleeps with his front arms stretched out and his back ones to, flat on his belly.  i just thought..perhaps when they crawl like this, its a good way to scratch the belly! he he
