This morning I woke up to Lucy crawling under the covers with me...a cold nose and paws against my legs is NOT a fun way to wake up!  But I can't get mad at that little face!  So she stayed there until I was ready to get up.  By that time she had made her way to the bottom corner of the bed and couldn't find her way out!  Silly dog!   

I've had dogs ON my bed before, but not IN my bed.  RATTIES!! 

...yes not fun... i kno what thats like... ive felt a cold nose on tha back of my legs b4... puppy cant sleep unless he has a pillow and is under some cover...

sproket only sleeps under the covers. he loves blankets! he'll scratch in them to make  what i call a nest....and he especially loves them straight from the dryer when they are nice and warm. but when he sleeps with us at night...he's under the blankets for sure. i always wander how he breathes under there!

I LOVE reading all of these quirky things about ratties! Most of my life I was a cat lover, but Jackson has definitely grown on me! He also likes to get under the covers. He usually starts on top, sleeps a little, then will come up and scratch at the sheets if he can't get under himself. It's so damn cute when he pops out after a good nights sleep with his little floppy-mc floperson ears going!

Casey has been pulling all his old habbits on Thom. Thom is new to the Rattie daddy duties, so Casey will try and convince him that "Mom would let me do this really, i promise we won't get in trouble" We made Casey his own sleeping bag so he could start sleeping in his own beg on the floor again. However, he has convinced Thom, with his " I'm so tiny and cold, I need under the covers" look lately. So now Thom feels horrable if Casey has to sleep on the floor.....In the zero degree sleeping bag.....on the softest bed known to man.....in a very heated house. Alas, Casey sleeps with us just like a regular 3 year old with a nightmare.

Apollo MUST sleep under the covers but he likes to have his nose sticking out.  And I literally mean just his nose.  You can't see his muzzle.  But Emma likes to sleep completely under the covers. 

Sounds familiar! Savanna has to be covered. She sleeps like a rock. Never have had a dog like this before. She has to be touching me too.

Rowdy always has to be under the covers with me!  When I go to bed, I'll turn out the lights and then he'll walk up next to the bed, get his muzzle under the covers and lift his head to try and make space under the blankets next to me.  Of course, he can't get it up high enough to get room to climb under, but he'll do this head tossing thing until I lift the blankets for him.  Trust me, I always break down!  He's letting cold air drafts under the covers when he does that!

He also has to be curled up right next to me.  When we go to sleep, he curls up down by my knees.  Somehow during the night he moves up, so when I wake up he's always curled up against my chest.  And if he gets hot, he simply makes room to get his head out, but the rest of him stays under the covers. 

I love sleeping with him.  He's so cuddly!  Plus, he'll sleep in as long as I sleep in.  He's not much of a morning dog.  (If the other dogs comeover and nuzzle at him, he snaps and growls at them.   It's quite funny.  Schatz has finally learned to leave him alone- he's a cranky waker.  (Like mommie, like rattie, I guess....)

Teddy always starts under the covers. Then he likes to nuzzle his neck on one of our necks for awhile. Then it's back under the covers. I have found that these little ratties are comfort creatures.

had my rattie for maybe a week. took all my blankets, linens...everything that i had that was burrowing worthy and washed them. my nico had an anxiety attack! i had no idea they needed something to dig, burrow into. love the way she snuggles under the blankets with me specially since we moved from the south to chicago. she's like a little furnace!

Sydeny is always under the covers with her head on the pillow by my left side(always on the left side)  This is her spot and gets very possessive of her spot.  Sonic starts out above the covers but goes under the covers between Mike and I in the middle of the nigt with is butt sticking out by the pillows.  Rusty the cat sleeps on a pillow above my head with his paws resting on my head.  Madison the kitten sleeps by Mikes face in a little ball.  I need someone to take a picture of all of us at night, people do not believe me.  Glad we have a King sized bed.
