PIXIE LIKES TO LAY ON ME WITH HER BUTT ON MY SHOULDER AND HER HEAD ON MY CHEST/BELLY. THIS MEANS THAT WHEN SHE FARTS ON ME (AND MIND YOU SHE ALWAYS HAS THE SILENT ONES) IT IS RIGHT THERE BY MY NOSE, AND THE SMELL GETS STUCK IN MY NOSTRILS! HOW CAN SUCH A TINY ANIMAL BE SO COMPLETELY RANCID??!!

Don't light a match around here

Rattagan will usually turn back and sniff his, ew.  One night, not long ago, he was laying beside me and I felt his insides start to rumble...then the blast.  Well he jumped and ran off, and so did I!  Janie was looked with a "WTH?" expression then figured it out.

Hahahaha....That is funny. Casey always looks at his bum also. He is so curious as to where that come from. And when one of us farts...he is all about it too. He wants to get right in there and "investigate"  Silly pups.

Well we all know it's true!  I'm not saying i enjoy his curiosuty...he does it to strangers when they come to visit. You can always tell if a visitor acidentally lets one loose. He goes over and sits next to them and just stares...looking in that direction.

Janie just picked up Cameo after going out, and doing two number ones and a number two, and said Cammie pif-poffed.

Well I certainly admire your honesty but I guess that really isn't an enviable position is it?

I wonder if all of this isn't contributing to global warming...say, maybe we can get a Nobel Prize too

Hubby just emailed me saying he'd had to abandon the living room.   He said Bob farted, wagged his stub, and smiled.  I guess he felt better.

They do seem to be quite proud of it at times-including hubby! Sorry Bill Thank goodness it don't happen too often. Since I haven't vet teched for several years, I seem to be less tolerant of foul odors

I've had a lot of big dogs.. and none of them do Sophie ANY justice lol

She also burps.. and has done so in my face at 4 am..

Bad enough I got out of bed and had to leave the room until the smell cleared

OMG that is so funny, when we took Molly home it was a 2 hour car ride and she had such bad gas...We thought she was sick, but we soon realized it was just her, and man it is soooo  bad.

Casey does this too at odd hours. He does it to let me know he has to pee. It is his way of saying "ok, this is your first warning, next time it comes form the other end"

We got our older Rat when he was 4 years old and he had TERRIBLE gas.

Changed to a "good" food, and all better!

Jake doesn't have gas very often.  But when it happens, he jumps up and runs from it!!  It seems to scare him to death, wondering what in the world was that!! HA

Sam's gas leaks aren't really smelly, but they can be pretty loud. It's funny how when ever one squeaks out, he jumps about a foot in the air then, shocked, sniffs his rear, wrinkles his brow as if to say, "Wow, who delt it?" then moves on to a different spot.

Dixie is about 2 years  old and yea she can clear the room or have us rolling windows down in the car. Funny thing is she looks at us like we are crazy, and have no idea what we are doing. One time we were at a park and another dog sniffed her rear, when the other dog sniffed she let go of one of her SBD's and the other dog left rather quickly, funniest thing I have ever seen.

Saturday night I was in the recliner with Mimzy. She was on her back and wanted to get up. Well, evidently, she strained a might too much in getting and let out two wittle farts. My husband says, "What in the world was that?" I hadn't realized that she had farted until the smell hit me! WoooWeee....My hubby left the room. This was the first time she actually made a noise; usually they are SPD's (Silent But Deadly)

We wondered why the breeder called Libby Stinkerbell! Yeah, we figured it out fast. That girl can FART! Hubby's are usually worse though =)
