Bailey LOVES toilet paper. Every chance he gets he will shred it in a heart beat. I have to keep the door shut or just keep the trash can on the cabinet.

Snickers LOVES doing the trash inspection. We had to buy a $100+ trash can for the kitchen.

http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Product.jhtml?CATID=70622&PRODID=10014899

It had to 1) fit into the narrow space between the fridge & the cabinet, 2) have an interior can where the trash bag was not visible or accessible (no, not one itsy bitsy teeny tiny little bit) to the little doggy. She would grab onto the liner bag and pull the entire thing OUT of the can. Just double checking that you guys didn't miss anything edible, you know.

Since we've gotten the very expensive trash can, she has started to review the bathroom trash cans. I think I'm going to go for the 'keep bathroom door closed' solution, since most of the bathroom trash cans are knock-over-able, and a lid is not going to solve our problems.

She LOVES used tissues. Of course, she's just as willing to clean out one's sinuses directly.....Ewwww!!

Maggie will shred toilet paper and Kleenex at any time unused or used she doesn't care. It is the soft shreddy paper thing, she has even got a hold of a roll of paper towels once, it made a huge mess over the entire living room.

This isn't a trash can story but.... Annie waits next to the dryer on laundry day and as soon as I set down the load of dry clothes she digs for the dryer sheet and feels so triumphant when she finds it. It is her favorite time of day.
