Okay so I want to start of by saying the Macie WAS completely potty trained, never any accidents in our new apartment.....UNTIL we got Kami, Macie pooped 2 nights in a row on the carpet some time during the middle of the night (she sleeps with us in the bed)----Do you have any idea why she is doing this? GRR it makes me VERY mad especially since we let her out at about 11-11:30pm at night...

ALSO our new puppy Kami has pooping in the house issues also.. I will let her outside and she will pee and we walk around for like 10-15 minutes and she usually won't poop! Then like 20 minutes after we are back inside she will poop in her or Macie's dog bed..... This is also making not very happy     She is 10 weeks and does not pee or poop in her crate... but her bed is in the living room and that is the place she chooses to poop.... and a couple times she has done it in the hallway

PLEASE!! If you have ANY advice for either of my pups let me know!! This is getting frustrating!

ALSO.. Kami's poops are still pretty runny... we have tried to give her 100% canned pumpkin and we also gave her plain white rice and neither of these are helping... I LOVE MY BABIES but cleaning up runny poop everyday is getting kind of old..

Couple of questions to remind me ... they are both crate trained? They are both on a feeding schedule? I'll assume yes to both questions.

Macie may need a refresher course and should be crated in the evening after her last outing outside, after a few nights, you can certainly try again, and go back to the crate if she is still doing it.

With the new puppy - keep track of her feeding times and her pee and poop times - write it down. You should shortly get a good idea of when she needs to poo after being fed. When you take her out to poo, keep her on a leash, go to a designated spot and give her some time to go 10 - 15 minutes. Do not let her explore over much and get distracted. Repeat to her "go poo" or "go potty" (whatever you'd like to use as a key phrase) If she does not go within 15 minutes, calmly take her back inside and crate her. Repeat the same procedure in about 15 minutes. Keep repeating until she does her business. When she does, IMMEDIATELY praise her, really, really over the top praise so that she knows how thrilled you are with her You can then allow her some free time in the house. I would recommend however that she be kept near you and in your eyesight at all times - if you cannot keep an eye on her put her in her crate. You need to be able to immediately notice if she is exhibiting signs of looking for a place to pee/poo and get her outside before she does. OR if she goes without any signs that you notice, you have to IMMEDIATELY correct her with a stern "No" (not loud or scary) and take her outside. Again, if and when she goes outside, lavish her with more over-the-top praise. It should not take her long to catch on to what pleases you and what does not.

As for Kami's runny poos - has she been to the vet recently? What are you feeding her, how much, and how often? I would consult with your vet and perhaps take her in along with a stool sample as worms/parasites are a possible reason for her continuing problems.

Opel was doing this I had to wait almost 20 mins on her to go Poop outside. she corrected her own self actually going but I did change her feed time stop feeding her after 10pm not sure if that helped her.

She has a vet appt next friday so I will ask him then~~ And we are feeding her natural balance and we let them eat at lunchtime and again around 6-7 pm. The problem with the going poop in the house is she doesn't really give any sign that she has to poop, she will be running around playing and then all of a sudden stop and do her business

Well, again, I would suggest that you just keep an extra close eye on her. Do not let her out of your sight. Use a light weight leash or rope to keep her attached to you if necessary. Also make note of what time she is fed and what time she goes poo, so you'll have an idea of when she needs to go out. When you catch her squatting, IMMEDIATELY give her a stern "no", pick her up and take her outside where you want her to go. Depending on how loose her stools are and the reason for that, it may be contributing to her having difficulty controlling her bowel movements. Definitely have the vet check her for any problems that might need treated.
