Is there any way that I can get Macie to stop *humping* our new puppy?? I know this is gross but it's getting ridiculous!!!

Well, my Mitzy does this sometimes and it's just a dominance thing (not sexual) so probably Macie is letting the new pup know she is "boss dog". Personally I don't stop Mitzy when she does it, we just laugh a lot. However, if you have kids around or guests over, etc. it could be embarassing....

I'd just stop the behavior like any other undesirable behavior....do the "ts" sound or distract her with something else, etc. Oh, BTW Mitzy never humped a human but if she had THAT would not be allowed; that would be her way of telling us she's alpha and that's would be a big no-no!
