Just have to share the good news!!!

Tonight Michael and I tried to teach Trixi to "lay down."  She has been doing SUPER well with the "sit" command.  We started by saying "lay" and pulling her front legs forward and when she was laying giving her a small piece of chicken.  After about 5 times of doing this, she laid down on her own and then kept doing it over and over again!  YAY TRIXI..shes so smart...she also would lay down before we even said it....silly girl...trying to get the chicken! 

so then we started alternating sit with lay and she seems to have really picked it up!  we are soooo proud!  GOOD GIRL TRIXI! 

I will try it again tomorrow and let you know what she remembers!  haha

yep...we did it again yesterday and this morning and she still remembers....she tries to lay before we say anything hoping thats what were going to say...too cute!

How cute. Sadie's having problems with the lay command. She won't let me pull on her legs, even a little bit. She will eventually get it if I tap the floor while i'm saying it. Good for Trixi!!!!
