My dad (who has raised, trained,  and bred labs) mentioned that "Bo" might not be a good name for a dog because it sounds just like "No".  Does anybody have any thoughts about this?

He has a point. But I've known a few dogs named Bo (or Beau, short for Beauregard) and they have coped somehow. Is there another name running a close second place?

I know its not an original name, but "Blue" is running a close second place. Not just because of his color, but from the movie "Old School", "You're my boy Blue"

Blue is a great name and much less common than Bo, I would think. Which name does he respond to more?
