I just got home from a cookout where I brought Mario.  My friends have a RT named Oreo but he isn't socialized at all.  I introduced the pups carefully and with lots of chicken chips.  The pups ended up playing so great together and the family was amazed.  Go Mario!!

Thanks, Sarah!  I was so proud of how well Mario behaved.  He was so skittish at the TN meet up and now he was just a happy pup playing with another rattie.    Oreo needs lots of work but he's a sweet sweet dog.  They don't really train him so I showed them a few things and they were really encouraged.  They have four girls and they got so upset if the dogs growled or barked at each other.  I kept explaining that they had to work it out and let it be.  Once the people relaxed, the pups relaxed.  Yay!

I love my friend so much but she doesn't spend the time with Oreo that he needs... not to be judgemental.. ratties do need attention and Oreo can be a wonderful dog if they would give it to him.  I think they saw that tonight so I hope they get more involved with him.
