Have any of you checked out either of these “training” programs? I was messing around looking at ads and pulled these two up. I was wondering if anyone here had ever heard of them or knew anything about them in terms of quality, ability, etc.

Thanks,

The titles are:

"How To Make Your Dog Obey Your Every Command In 15 Minutes A Day ...Without Hitting, Yelling, Or Punishing"

and

Teach Your Dog 100 English Words

I'm 90% sure such programs will direct you to 'clicker training' information.

Good sites for the same information:

http://www.clickerlessons.com/

http://www.clickertraining.com/

While I'm at it, I'll throw in this site, which I liked for hand command reference.

Good luck!

Great links. I was just wondering about the clicker-method. I"ve never used it, but I'll definitely with the new baby.

I clicker trained Lucy when she was a pup. It was helpful, but I didn't keep it up. Now she is afraid of the clicker because it is a sudden fast loud noise.

The clicker method works well IF the click is done at the right time. It's all a matter of timing for it to be a success. I've done quite a bit of clicker training with Bailey.
