I'm new to the site, hello everyone!
Miley is a generally well behaved puppy. We go for a 20 minute run in the mornings, then she's baby gated in the kitchen with water, food, her sleeping blanket and a few toys for about 9 hours. I come home and we go for another 20 to 30 minute run. We come in play fetch, and work on a few tricks. (Right now it's "dance"...she's not getting it...)
She was doing SO good... so I didn't pen her up for 2 days. In those two days she destroyed multiple dvd cases, picture frames, albums, trash, a roll of wrapping paper, and today last straw a pillow. The fluff was EVERYWHERE.
As SOON as I opened the front door she took one look at me and bolted under the couch. I didn't have time to put on an upset face, or even register what the heck that white stuff everywhere was and she was gone!
Did she KNOW she did something naughty???? I'm going to have to start putting her up again I know. I'm just curious if she KNEW she was being naughty.
AND how can I get her to "dance"-- spin around in a circle on her hind legs?
She already sits
"leaves it" ( I can put a treat up to her nose or mouth and she curls her lip and turns her head til I say good girl lol also works for getting her to drop my underwear etc)
"sits pretty" -- sits up on back legs with her little paws folded in the air
"bang bang!" plays dead lol
and she gets "go outside/walk"
"get in the car"
"get down"
and " make potty"
I'm trying to keep her little mind engaged...what else can i teach her and why doesn't she get "dance?"
Thanks everyone!
