She's kind of like the Nanny on that Nanny Show...LOL!

ANYWAY....last night she went to a home of a ParsonMix Terrier...totally out of control 7 yr old guy.

They had a camera set up, left and watched the dog start his mischief/destruction.

UNREAL! That dog OPENED the OVEN door, then the adjoining cabinet door, and then the drawer above the cabinet.....then proceeded to leap onto the oven door, then the higher cabinet and then onto the drawer which then got him onto the counters like a ladder!

On the counters he opened everything, cabinets, containers, anything that contained food. Then, as a final insult to his owners, he lifted his leg and hiked on the bread box!

Then jumped back down.

Unbelievably smart animal!

She, Nanny-Trainer, finally taught his people how to out fox him...hehheh! and change his behavior.

Just blew me away how this dog so carefully thought out every step...

I SAW that! It was pretty impressive how smart this dog is....and amazing how they let him run the house.

I watch her sometimes but didn't see that episode, wish I had though.
Saw one episode with 2 grayhounds that were allowed to poop and pee all over the kitchen...their owners basically had to muck out their kitchen like a horse stall (without the bedding) each day.
And another show were she was helping owners get their dog's weight down...what these people were stuffing their dogs with was gross!

I didn't see that episode but I have seen several others (I liked the one where there were like 4 overweight dogs and she whipped those dogs & owners into shape) I really like it.  She's does remind me of the Nanny...LOL

I've watched her a time or two when I happen to catch it on. She's good, I like her and Ceaser Milan too. I may not always agree with everything either one of them do but I like them and least they know it is the owners that are the problem not the dog. Fix the owners and they can deal with the dogs. Or as Ceaser says, train the owners and rehabilitate the dogs.

My kids and I LOVE her! Hubby is scared of her. I have used some of her training methods and they do work.

Does Miss Noodles RULE her Humans all day and night???  hehheh! Long as she is socially acceptable don't think the Nanny will come and take her away to Boot Camp...LOL!

I liked her stuff...very black and white. She deals with the wayward Humans first...as it should be!

Pooor dogs are just confused. Their "pack leader" is MIA. Weak.

I particularly liked her "whistle call" instead of calling out the name to get the dog to return. I cannot whistle to save my life...and to yell Yogi's name is sometimes futile...but the loud shrill sound of a whistle blown...might be just the ticket. Hunting dogs do best with that right? Well...Terriers ARE hunting dogs...yes?

I plan on trying it out.....

I watch her when I can, but usually she's not on when I'm home. But I enjoy watching her and Caeser Milan!
And I remember that episode! It's incredible what some dogs can figure out! I once saw a video of a dog pushing a chair in front of the counter to get at some food!
In fact, here's the video of it!

I watch her show regularly and saw the episode you mentioned. I had to call everyone in my house to see what this dog could do. It was hysterical. The trainer is great. I have tried several of her recommendations with very good results.

Isn't that Victoria Speedwell(?) She is awesome, I love her. I can get her show on animal planet. I love how she has a bun when she first initiates herself into the household to determine the problem. She looks so prim and proper. Then the second visit, she has her hair down. I tiny waist and a belt...please...love her...
Anyway I digress....
She really explains why the dog is acting the way it is and gives the solution that makes sense.
Do you notice that all the flats as they call them are the size of a shoe box? We should appreciate the size of homes we have. Did you see the biting pom?

I had not noticed the progression of her hairstyles in the show. I always noticed it was up, but not that it was bun first and then pony. Her show is coming up soon on Animal Planet. I will now be paying attention to her hair.
