How growly/vocal are ratties anyways?  My pup is always muttering about something.  When you move her from a cozy spot, when she is playing, when she is being petted, the list goes on! I really don't think it is an aggressive thing due to the fact that her body language does not suggest that.  She does not show teeth, freeze, have eyes that get hard or bite.  A lot of the time is during play.  Especially with the other dog.  She just is very vocal and opinionated.  Is this typical of the breed?  I have a standard poodle and had a greyhound so I have nothing to compare her to.
