Still working on Snoopy's housebreaking.  Am wondering if it would be easier to litterbox train him. Anybody done that with your Rattie?

I read on the internet, some people having a success doing it. I never try it myself. Let us know how it works.
You can also try using a puppy potty that have a fake grass on top so the dog will feel like doing potty outside.

It's definitely do-able and is often done by people that work long hours or live in apartments with no back yards. One thing to not lose sight of is if you DO have a yard and are eventually going to want him to do business outside, I would not recommend a litter box or pee pads. Because letting a dog go inside and then one day NOT wanting him to go inside just confuses the heck out of them and often the never get properly trained if you try to make the transition to going outside. I have always crate trained and taught my pups to go outside on the ground from day one and I really think that is why I haven't had potty training problems with any of my dogs. No "Mixed Signals" that way. Atop the training forum there are two permanent posts about House Training and Crate Training you should read. Very helpful info there.
