Ok, for their protection (you don't want the neighbor dogs to get them or have them get hit by a car, etc.) I wouldn't leave them outside alone. A secure fence would be best but if you can't have that and you want to leave them outside for a while (with you there and checking on them!) you can buy special tie-outs that they can't chew through. Personally, I would not trust them not to wriggle out of a harness and still get loose but that's JMO.
If they are inside then I wouldn't leave harnesses on them. They can get irritated from them or get caught on things. Maybe if you use the Puppia vests it might be alright though. I just don't leave anything on mine in the house except their nylon collars with their ID tags on them. |
