Hello Everyone,

I am So lost here i was given two girls, pure breed  ratties, that didnt sell, was suspose to be trained but werent. black and white , at 5 months old !  oh my god are they cute and i love them... they however will be a yr this month and they dont  seem to get it on potty training.  i  now keep them in crate at night because of the potty problems.i live on dead end rd last on rd in woods i always had big dogs that stayed in yard ect ect . i didnt want to tie them up to go out  now they go to a neighbors to get there dogs going. will not come to me when i call them im so very lost and i love them.. im home all day too geni&getta are thier names. i did get them spayed ect ect.they have a bed right next to me  right now and are very loving . i have a tiny mutt dog  named jo jo  hes about 14 lbs the girls are 12 lbs.  they all love each other . can old dogs learn new tricks so to speak???.HELP please they all bark like fools too, a butterfly could fart to set them off.

Crating is the way to go with potty training.  Do they still have accidents during the day inside?  I would not let them have free run of the house until completely potty trained. 

Also, I would teach them both recall in case they get loose and don't trust them off leash, it's just too risky.
