ok.... Ms. Braeli is a very good girl about messing in the house. she rarely ever does off a piddle pad...

even when she greets people and she is very excited she will not have drippage! however with my father she full fled Ps instantly when he pets her!  i dont get it. with no one else... strangers, family, friends she is fine.. but my father and she goes!!! bryson never!

easter sunday we went to my folks house and she Ped outside, we went in and saw my mom 1st and she played... and then my papa was sitting on the sofa and she runs to him and as soon as he pet her she Ped... and the we cleaned and he pet her and she Ped again... this happened 6 times (no exageration). then we move down the black to my aunt's house and he sees her and goes to play/pet her and SHE Ped AGAIN!

sometimes shes wagging her nub, sometimes not. I can't tell if its EXCITED P or SCARED P!!!

why with only 1 person? could it be his cologne? voice? I can't figure it out

Its called submissive urinating, and its not something she can control at all. Correcting her for it just makes it worse. (not saying you ARE doing this... just advising against it). Some dogs do it with all people... some dogs do it with only certain people... some dogs don't do it at all.

What you can do to help her grow out of it is to keep greetings very low key - even to the point of ignoring her. Allow her to go see your father (when he's already seated... but never while he's standing up), but ask your father not to pet her... to just kinda ignore her. If she lays in his lap, he can stroke her, but that's all. Ask him not to reach down and pet her... it's intimidating her.

Best of luck, and remember - the dog can't help herself.
