I don't talk about my little man dog, Skipper, much because I don't think he's rattie (we think he's chi-corgi). But I had to tell ya'll about his toy sharing.
We have a basket full of toys in the living room and Skipper loves taking each toy out of there. You can tell at one time he did have toys (before his owner turned him into shelter). Well, he plays with them with the girls of course but he has the most fun whenever I bring a puppy home for the night (when I'm helping Ratbones with transports). He and Toa and then he and Brutus had so much fun empting the basket and running around with all the toys.
He also greets me every day after work at the door with a toy. Usually his favorite - a penguin. Actually, when Brutus was here he snagged that penguin and was playing with it but Skipper just watched him sort of sadly so I took it (gave Brutus another toy, he didn't care) and gave it back to Skipper - he gets so happy whenever he sees his little penguin! Don't know what I'll do if the day ever comes that penguin ceases to exist. |

| I would stock up if I could find anymore of them! Guess I'll have to online and search for penguin toys. When goes in his crate he always has to take Penguin with him, too, and when he comes out Penguin comes out. It's just so darned cute. |

Spoiled? How dare you think such a thing! I just got a big box of stuff from Jeffers.com (great place) including Lamb ears (Roxy is allergic to beef/chicken of course), Dog Vitamins, and treats. I have a bag of brand new toys to bring one out every so often. I LOVE that penguin and think you would be smart to get a couple for back ups. So is it a no no to talk about non RTs on this RT forum? We are half TFT half RT in this house (though I really think Zip must be RT, he's so large for a TFT at 15lbs and tall - he's in my avatar). I started in TFT rescue and, as you guys know, our terriers are always mislabled (usually as Jack mixes) so we ended up fostering RTs half the time (ATFTC is the group). I fell in love with the RTs as they are sturdier and a bit more mellow then the TFTs, but very similar. Anyway, I don't want to break the rules about talking about them...they are just such integrated pack to me! |

| No no no!! it's quite common and very ok to talk about non-ratties! I just meant that I talk about my two ratties more than Skipper. We love all breeds on here and Skipper is actally an honorary rat terrier. |

They have them at Petco. Other than that I've found them at a few places online, have to keep looking.
