I talked to the vet, the dog had an appointment for 10 this morning. Did you take him? Evidently NOT!!! If you have to ask such a stupid, idiotic question YOU DO NOT NEED TO OWN AN ANIMAL OF ANY KIND!!!! And Your husband needs to have his butt kicked but good if I were closer I would come and administer an attitude adjustment to both of you. You get that dog in a GOOD HOME, AND THAT IS NOT YOURS. I'm sick of you and your trash and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It is time to tell it like it is girl. Yesterday it was he needs surgery or he will die, then the hubby spent the money and you have to wait for taxes to come back. How long would that take, and even then you or the hubby would just blow it just like you did with the money you said you had for the surgery. Then it is the pet store will cover the cost IF he needs surgery. IF, IF,IF, I talked to the vet, I know for a fact that he needs to be neutered or it will cost him his life and you and your hubby could care less. I just spent $1300 on my dog for knee surgery and you can't handle $175 or make arrangements with the vet yourself. They were more than willing to work with me so why not with you? My male rattie is 11 years old he was neutered at 6 months and he is a long way from mean. I don't think I have ever seen a mean Rat Terrier. You and your hubby have no sense when it comes to animals obviously and do not deserve to have a dog or any other animal. Until you grow up and learn how to take care of yourself and your finances you don't need to own an animal. They take more care than just food and water. Have you even checked on his vaccinations and if he needs them and he does as all dogs do, how will you handle that. There are many things he should be vaccinated against including Rabies. HAVE YOU DONE ANY OF THESE THINGS? I'd bet that I could guarantee that if you tried to adopt a pup through Ratbone Rescues that you would be turned down flat. I am tempted to call animal control on you people. Count yourselves lucky if someone can talk me out of it. I'm done with you, your hubby and your stupidity. I feel so bad for that little dog to have dead beat owners like you.

O.K. First of all,  thank you to all the members thathave tried to help this pup! Kudos to you! AS for you abullard,  I agree with many others here. You and your husband do not deserve a dog! If  you don't have the $$$ for emergencies, and you never know when they wil happen, then you don't need to be in charge of the care of a dog. I have put my dogs in front of everything that I do. Yesterday was a good example. My girls needed their worm and flea meds.

Granted it is not he same as surgery, but the point is they got theirs, I didn't get groceries! So Til you get your 's*** 'toghether, I think you need to give this dog to someone who can and will put his needs above your own!
