I have had my baby girl Kaya for about 2 weeks now and I cannot get her to stop biting. I cant pet her or pick her up without her biting me. She is only 12 weeks so I know she is probably playing or teething, but her little teeth hurt! Also, how do I train her to go to the door to let me know that she has to use the bathroom? Whenever I see her sniffing I take her outside before there are any accidents, so she isnt able to associate standing by the door to go outside.

sounds like she is teething. have you tried using puppy pads and place them close to the door and maybe eventurally she will get the idea. my tauney does that she play bites but i have lots of chew toys for her and raw hides and such if she is chewing on your hand tell her AAAAACCKKK. i do that to tauney and she is starting to get the idea ( i hope) jmo!!!!!

It was about that same age when Lloyd lost his baby teeth & it happened really fast.He lost like 5 teeth in a 3 day span & the new ones came in immediately--within days.He was chewing on anything & everything---I noticed blood on something & realized they were super loose & ready to fall out.He actually cried (whimpered) at night after they fell out, as if it really hurt.I put baby orajel on his gums...and YES he is a spoiled brat...and it helped.

Cyrus isn't teething anymore, and he still bites. He just starts playing and gets excited and I have to remind him "no biting" and then he stops like "OH YEAH!" but after a while he forgets again. I just have to keep reminding him. About letting you know when she need to go out, you could try a bell? Depending on how okay with the noise she is. Cyrus just has a schedule because he refused the bell. That works best for us. You'll figure out what's best for you! Hope it all works out! Good luck!
