Okay, so here's my daily report....
Mario had another great day!!!  I have a few videos of Mario doing recall with me but my hubby has the cord that I need to upload my picts and videos to my computer.  So, I will post the videos a little later.
Anyway, Mario did great. We went out front and today we had a few more distractions to deal with. I walked Mario a little further down the street... new smells, kitty cats in the bushes, etc... Well, he came to me every time I called him!!  I'm so proud of him!!
He even came immediately when a lab was out on a walk. He barked and play jumped around him...he was still a little scared but I haven't seen him this confident yet! Again...soooo proud! 
We did hit a hiccup when, George, the Rottie came out front. Mario loves him and I had to pull his leash to coax him to me. He wouldn't take the cheese since he was so excited to see George. I let him back out again and called....he came right to me! He took the cheese, we ended on a great note and he got to play with George for a few minutes... a real treat for Mario!
I can't wait to post the videos later... Thank you ALL for your advice and encouragement!! 
Oh, just a side note... my bank teller has a rattie and I told her about us... she may join!!!  |

YESSSSSS! See? A "treat" doesn't always have to be food! Ending on a positive note is a major key to having a great training session! WOW---I'm so happy for you and Mario! |

Thanks everyone! Paul, I thought that playtime with George would please Mario.  I'm so grateful for all the help!! I am very encouraged too. |

My kids are learning how to do the recall... I have to constantly monitor them because they call him inside all the time. They are getting the hang of it. My husband isn't home enough to work with him too. I think he just wants me to do all the training so he can reap the benefits of a well mannered dog!! (Not sure if I should put a or a  here !!! ) LOL

| No... not home. Am on my laptop at the hotel. It's been a long, hot day, but FUN FUN FUN! No people like dog people, ya know? We'll be going out for a bite to eat after we rest for a bit. Seems like forever since I've been *here* !! haha |
