He is confused, Shannon... and truly I do understand that. But I'm not sure my patience is gonna last until mid next week. I'm praying at some point before then... he'll settle down. During the day he's fine because he's used to being crated during the day anyways. But he's not used to being crated when we're home and with all the other dogs running loose. He probably thinks we're being cruel. He has eaten enough bully sticks to choke a horse and that's the ONLY way he'll stay quiet for any length of time.
DoDo -- hubby is taking a two-week trip this fall to the east coast. I'm once again not going because I'm booked with 5 dog trials this fall. (and it's what I prefer to do).
sounds like you're having the best weather! Can I just ship Bailey to you?
Sorry Nora ... Love ya and all ... BUT ... I need my sleep!!!! Oh and tell hubby to look me up if he's in Maine ... wish you could tag a along too.

| Poor Poor Nora! I'm so sorry about Bailey's injury and your poor nerves! I hope things get better real soon. We have room for ya but you will have to put up with kid noise. If they aren't quiet enough they get sent down to the creek though, does that work for you? |

Nora, you can come on down to my house. If Bob and my kids get on your nerves, you can go to my mom's and stay in her guest bedroom. She's just got a lazy little poodle who doesn't make any noise unless someone knocks on her door. Terry will grill some fajitas and make his homemade salsa. You can teach Bob how to do obedience or agility stuff while I sit on the covered patio sipping on a margarita. |

Ya think I can teach obedience and/or agility in two weeks? Oh my! You DO have faith in me don't you? hahaha (gives a new perspective on the meaning of "blind faith" hahaha)

Oh I know you couldn't teach him everything, but I thought it would keep you busy and maybe it would be fun for you. Terry makes really good margaritas. |

| Teaching/training dogs is always fun for me... you are right. I want to be a canine massage therapist too! In the agility environment, this is quite common... and so are canine chiropracters. It's truly mind-boggling. |

My dobie mix Buddy sees a chiropractor once a month...she's MY chiropractor, but she took a bunch of classes to do animals...she's been to Europe to adjust a horse during an endurance race. Man, I'd LOVE to learn that! $45/visit. I really must love my doggie!! |
