Its been a while but I think hight wise done about 9 months to a year. I would think Loki is on target to be a standard. I had a chart some where on my computer but can not find it.

I'm also thinking good sized Standard. I have Toys and they have their height and most of their weight by 8-9 months, and just fill in after that. But the bigger the dog, generally the longer they take to mature. Also, a dog that was spayed/neutered prior to puberty may get a little taller than it would have been if left intact - removal of the hormones can delay closure of the growth plates on the long bones.

Jubal maxed out, height-wise, at six months -- at a bit over 10" tall. He weighed about 8 pounds back then, and weighs 10 as an adult dog. The lady I got him from said he would be "on the small side", but didn't offer any insight as to how big that would be. I asked for input after I joined this forum, and Doreen and a couple of other folks guesstimated how big he'd get, and they were spot-on. BTW, I had used a couple of different formulas that I found on the web, to estimate his adult size, and they projected he'd be 15" tall and weigh 18 pounds.

Jack's about the size of his sire (his dam was smaller) at 11 months, maybe a little taller. He's a bit underweight due to an illness, so he's 12 pounds, but he's 15" at the shoulder, and he was a muscly 14 pounds just before New Years, which is what his sire weighed. I would imagine he'll fill out a bit more, so maybe 15 or 16 pounds when he's done -- definitely a standard. I think his dam was on the border between mini and standard. I don't know if that just happened or if the boys often favor their sires and vice versa. Does anyone know?

Jack was also neutered relatively young -- just barely five months (he had already tried to mount one of his puppy classmates), and I was told that might mean he would grow taller.

I measured her and she's already 12 inches tall at the shoulder so I think she'll definitely be able to grow 2 more inches and become a standard. Cool!
