I was able to get to a place today that sells Canidae and tonight, I mixed it in with his Nutro Ultra puppy food. He LOVED it! He chowed down like mad!!

Of course he was very hungry, he had spent most of the late afternoon playing very hard with his new best friend Abby, a ShiTzu. Abby is 14 pounds and I am hoping to convince her mom to get her on Canidae. Abby hasn't been eating her kibble and has been eating bits and scraps. Not a great diet. I gave her mom a couple of servings of the Canidae and told her if Abby liked it, I would get a larger bag and we could split it. She seemed to like the idea. I will find out tomorrow if Abby liked it too.

He is crashed out, he is so tired. After his dinner, we went out for potty and he did his thing and came right in and got in his bed!! One tired little boy. But a very happy one!

Cheryl! I m so glad everything is working out for you and Aka!! As far as Abby is concerned. If she knows she is going to get table scraps, she will never eat kibble, no matter how high quality it is. Please try to convince Abby's mom to stop the 'bits and scraps'. Abby will be happier and healthier for it!

Oh Debra,
You are so right! I hope we can get Abby on a better diet. She is one adorable dog and I hate to think of her not living to the fullest due to poor nutrition.
