and i'm not sure what it is.....   I noticed it late afternoon yesterday....   So i thought... okay, i'll wait overnight and see how he is in the morning....   Well,  i woke up at 3 a.m.   went to the bathroom, and checked on Kasey....  told myself to take Kasey to the vet in the afternoon... and went back to bed.... and then for some odd reason, my alarm clock somehow was set ahead 3 hours and my alarm went off.    So, I'm thinking that's odd.  the time was right when i went to bed, or so i thought...  So i checked on Kasey again...   Something is very wrong with him.  and I am taking him to the vet before my husband goes to work....   So it's 4:45 a.m.  the vet opens at 6:30, takes approxmately 20 mins to get there..... and I'm all ready to go.  I have a doctor's appointment myself this early a.m.  So i am planning on taking Kasey to the vet and explain what's up. and get back home before hubby leaves for work, get the kids ready and off to school and then I'll be off to Ft. wayne for my appt.  and I know i will be waiting anxiously to hear from the vet....  this is going to be a long day.  and i'm so worried........  So please say a prayer for Kasey....  

Kasey won't wag his tail, or chase his ball.... or even to bark at the cat....  he would yip in pain, i checked his gum and it is pink..... then when he was trying to bark.... he would yip in a high pitch....   my poor baby is so miserable.  he's not acting himself......  

  I will keep ya all posted when i get a chance...  

and on top of that, i have to take my finals today....   gosh, i hope i can focus.

Okay, Kasey and I are back..... 

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers...   I was so worried. 

Well, i called the vet to let them know i was on my way back to Ohio, and wanted to know if kasey is ready to go home, they were about ready to go to lunch which is fine, i was able to go grocery shopping real quick before i went to get him. 

Come to find out,  Kasey hurt his neck.  He was fine when he turned his neck to the right, but when he turned it to the left, they said he screamed.....   poor guy.  So he got a shot for pain and will be starting a daily dose of pain medicine tomorrow.  corti something. 

i figured it had to do with something with him and Indy play rough yesterday.....  they did the indy 500 through - out the house and played tug of war with the freesbee.....   and usually when Kasey has enough, he comes between my feet ........    Indy is so goofy, he just doesn't know or understand when kasey has enough......   I feel so sorry for Kasey....   Indy is just more than what Kasey can handle....   i mean i love them both, i really do...  but dang.....   i hope this craziness from him doesn't happen again.  Indy needs a big dog to play with. 

Yes, i'm glad that's all it is... i was so worried about him and feared the worst......  he's just taking it real easy right now.....  i hope he can handle the trip to the lake this weekend. 

Oh ouch! Poor guy. Weird about the alarm clock huh?

yeah.....   and i took it as a sign to get up.... for Kasey...  he's not quite back to himself yet... .he did act okay when he was at the vet (new smells, people etc.)... but once he's home....  he was able to relax much better, and he's getting his "handsome sleep".
