I lost the thread of hoe much benadryl to give a 14.2 lb dog,he got his shots on fri,but I refused the lepto and bordatella,they did have to muzzel him tho,and I had to leave,then he was fine,my husband stayed with him,he would not let anyone come near him when I was in their,could I be from the muzzel? |

| benedryl is 1 mg per lb. does the bump seem to be bothering him? sensitive to the touch, or itching him? |

| if the bump isn't bothering him, just watch him for now...if it doesn't get any worse, it's probably nothing to worry about. if he was going to have an allergic reaction to his shots, I'd think it would have happened sooner. |

I took a picture of it,gave him the benadryl just in case,thank you for the dosage

Maybe he got stung by a bee. Is there any redness? I guess it could be from being grabbed by the muzzle, if he was fighting them. Just like a person's nose can swell up, if hit.

| Is it possible he has a bruise under the skin? Blood under the skin will bump up like that. It's called a hematoma. Not dangerous, but not pretty. Hope this resolves soon, because I know you are worried about it. |

| yep I was so worried I took him to the emergency vet,they gave him a cortisone shot he was having an allergic reaction |

Sonic swelled up from a reactionto is shot 1 1/2 days later. He was quite ill from it. Glad you took him in. |
