Well, he came home yesterday evening. About 11:30 last night, he throw up. Then he wanted to do nothing but sleep during the day. Then at 4:30 this afternoon, he throw up again. I took him back to the vet. They did an xray to check for a blockage. It was negative but it did show a severly inflamed intestine wall. IT also show lots of trapped gas. He was throwing up in his mouth but not spitting it out. They gave him an additional medicine and a shot for nausea. They also told me to get him some Tagamet. I have to give him another shot at 10:30 tonight ans another in the morning. If he throws up again, they want to hospitalize him for 3 days on IV fluids to let the stomach and intestines calm down. |
