would I be expected to see weight loss in Toa...I have cut his food back about 2-3 weeks ago and then cut it back a little more 3 days ago. I think im going crazy but may already be noticing a thinner Toa....is that possible that quick if were being strict about it? (he has been having carrots and blueberries for treats!! hehe) |

Whe I had to put the 'little red brick' on a diet, it started show in a week or so. She lost a little over 2 pounds, so it does show quickly. (took about 3 months to lose it all) Good for you and Toa!!!! |

Rattagan started to slim down almost immediately when we switched to Natural Balance. Cameo, like Toa, is a food-whore, so she's been consistently growing. Now she is just a little lighter than Toa and we've cut back her portions. The vet didn't say anything about her weight though (16.4), I think she may be about a pound or so over. I can feel her ribs, but they aren't visbile. She doesn't a fatty rump bump yet. Back in Miami Rattagan often didn't finish what was in his bowl and if one of us didn't move it away she'd go finish his. He is feeling much better now and eats as well as any other so there are no left-overs for Cammie. We also figured out that if she got the bowl the food is mixed in it give her more food covered surface area and she'll stay at her bowl until it is completely cleaned, giving the rest of the pack a chance to finish theirs. Speaking of feeding...I guess it's my turn to let Janie sleep in while I setup breakfast for the pack. |
