So now I find out they are "NOT RECOMMENDED FOR STRONG CHEWERS." Cameo and Zip have been gnawing the ends of these and we found a bunch of pieces spit up with some hair balls this morning. I could only imagine how uncomfortable it would be if those pieces had passed out the other end |

Good to know... it's amazing how many chew toys just aren't very chew-resistant. At least not when RT's are involved. |

Which nylabones are you talking about? The ones that are the size/shape of greenies/nutrident chews? OR the ones that are bigger and green in the middle with white "balls" at either end and minty tasting? |

| I had to quit buying the small ones (the ones the size of greenies) because they gnawed pieces off...haven't had any problem with the big minty ones but mostly mine chew on bully sticks now. |

All we have here now for them to have is Kongs. Our vet said no stuffed animals, no chewy bones, no bully sticks and now greenies. |

| I bought the medium sized ones in a pack of three, one bacon one chicken and one of the hard white ones in the pack. The bacon one lasted about 2 seconds those are edible. The really hard white ones Cameo doesn't like. The flexible clear brown ones are the ones Cameo and Zip destroyed and that is what Cameo was throwing up, pieces of that nylabone. No more of those in my house even if they are good for their teeth. If I get something really big then they won't mess with it so I don't know what to use now. |
